This kind of PVC silt curtain or turbidity curtain is called as anti-high flow or high current oil containment barrier. It is constructured with permeable geotexile fabric or sepcial mesh to allow water to flow when they retain the sediments or debris or any seaplant such as enteromorpha and sargassum. Compared to traditioal impermeable silt curtain or oil barriers, It is usually used to prevent any solid debris or seaweed or oil spills in a moving areas with medium waves and high current to allow water flow through bottom pemeable geotexile filter fabric.
