Oil pipeline explosion in Qingdao in 2013

An oil pipeline exploded in Qingdao in China in 2013.The major cause of the explosion was poor planing and maintenance of the pipeline when oil leaking was found. The serious explosion has caused many people injured and large quantity oil spills into the sea. And it also has highlighted major problems including serious location of oil pipeline and wrong maintenance.The accident also caused large quantity of oil spills into the yellow sea and Jiaozhou Bay. Thousands people anticipated in the oil spill clean up and it took almost three months to remove the oil spills into the yellow sea. Everyone should be responsible for our sea and should protect our sea.
